 Guatemala can be visited year-round. There is no problem traveling around, even when you visit in the rainy season, from May to October. The country is divided into three climate zones. In the highlands, between 2600-5900 ft, temperatures are quite mild. Above 5900 ft, it can get cold, especially at night. In the hot region, below 2600 ft, you will find a tropical, humid climate. Make sure you pack appropriately for your itinerary. Do not forget to bring some raingear.
